A street sign for Molly Lane — which shares its name with a nickname for the drug MDNA — was stolen sometime between Sunday, June 14 and the next day, according to Darien police. Various other street signs have been stolen around town over the past few weeks, a police spokesman said. Most have been uprooted but found nearby. It costs $50 for the town Department of Public Works to replace a typical street sign, according to police. No other street names in town seem to be double entendres, with one possible exception; police and residents of Weed’s Landing might want to keep an eye on their street sign.
