A presentation, “Preparing Middle School Special Education/504 Students for Transition to DHS” takes place Thursday, Feb. 9, from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. at Middlesex Middle School Auditorium. The event is co-sponsored by Middlesex Parents Association and the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee. Please join a panel of DHS and MMS administrators and staff for this informative discussion and explanation of the high school transition process for middle school students with IEPs and 504 accommodations. Topics will include:

The Transition of Students with IEPs from the Early Learning Program to Kindergarten

A meeting for parents of children with Individual Education Plans and easing the transition from the Early Learning Program to Kindergarten will take place from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 9 in the Meeting Room at Darien Public Schools headquarters, 35 Leroy Ave. Please join a panel of ELP and kindergarten educators who will provide an overview of the transition to kindergarten for students with disabilities. The presentation is titled “ELP Transition/ Articulation to Kindergarten for Children with IEPs” and is sponsored by Darien Public Schools.
