Darien artist Nobu Miki will be teaching a painting class from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4, at the Darien Community Association. The cost is $45 for DCA members, $55 for everyone else. Prepayment for all classes is required by Monday, Feb. 1. Minimum enrollment applies.
Darien Community Association has classes starting Jan. 6 to teach you how to play Mah Jongg, the Chinese game you play with others at a table, using tiles and cards. Once you’ve learned, the DCA also has ongoing “drop in” games, where reservations are not required (although there is a fee). The DCA recently announced that the classes are available.
