The Post published this account from Bridgeport police (with accusations not proven in court):

William King of Walmsley Road was in a pickup truck waiting Wednesday morning in the drive-thru lane at the McDonald’s restaurant on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport. A Stamford woman screamed and swore at Darien Library staff, then came back and did the same when she was told to leave, then did it with police, who arrested her, police said. And she’s been accused repeatedly of doing the same thing in the past, according to previous news reports. No violence or other threatening behavior was reported in any of the incidents police described in Darien or in news reports of past incidents in Westport and Fairfield. Darien police gave this account (with accusations not proven in court) of the library incidents:

At some point before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, Megan Oddis-Sqitzer, 50, was involved in a short disturbance in which she was yelling at library staff. She left, but later returned and began yelling profanities where other library patrons heard her, including a woman and two young children entering the building during a busy time at the library, the director later told police. The library director said he asked her to step outside.

The 39-year-old boyfriend of a woman living in an apartment over a downtown store got into a physical confrontation with staff at the store on Christmas Eve, including punching and spitting on a manager, police said. Darien police described the incident and investigation in this account (with accusations not proven in court):

Police were given a description of the confrontation by people from the store. The tenant and her boyfriend stopped by Fjord Fish Market in the back of 1015 Post Road, to ask if the workers could turn down the radio. The tenant and her boyfriend had previously complained about noise and the odor of the retail seafood store. The manager offered to keep the radio off, but the woman said turning it down would be enough.
