A 22-year-old Port Chester, New York man was charged by police on accusations he repeatedly showed up at the victim’s Darien home after he was told not to do so, police said.
Darien police also said the man created 10 “fake” social media accounts in an effort to communicate with the victim over the past several months.
The police account of the matter, which includes accusations not proven in court, also says:
On Monday, Oct. 11, the victim told police that the man had recently been at the victim’s home after being told not to visit again. When police arrived at the home, the man had already left, but he was soon found in the area.
The man admitted the victim’s claims, including the claim about the 10 social media accounts. He was charged with second-degree stalking and released pending an appearance Oct. 12 in state Superior Court in Stamford. According to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website, his next court date is Dec. 7.
