The free event, organized by Darien Parks and Recreation Department, takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Tilley Pond Park
From the department’s announcement:
Come and enjoy some holiday cheer with your friends and neighbors. Take in the holiday lights and a roaring fire, while the kids decorate ornaments and cookies.
There will also be a letter writing station, so kids can write letters to Santa. The Parks and Recreation Department will be selling festive old fashioned goodies including: hot cider, ribbon candy, doughnuts and popcorn balls. Expect a visit from Frosty and one of the Reindeer too!
The event is FREE to attend. FREE parking will be available at all adjacent commuter parking lots.
Warm up by the fire pit and listen to some holiday music, as you watch the park fill with the spirit of the holiday season!
