The Stamford Transportation Center’s passenger drop off area located on South State Street in Stamford, near Track No. 5, will be closed starting 10 p.m., Friday, April 1, through 10 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 to facilitate pedestrian bridge construction activities.
If you’re dropping off or picking up anyone from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday, don’t use this entrance.
Vehicle and pedestrian access will be completely restricted at the passenger drop-off area during the scheduled closure.
The public can access the station via Station Place, on the opposite side of the station, near the tracks.
One lane of South State Street will remain open to vehicle traffic and no stopping will be permitted.

This work is part of a $8,779,000.00 contract awarded to Ecco III Enterprises, Inc of Yonkers, N.Y. on April 24, 2014 and is scheduled for completion in late December 2016.
