If you have some documents you want to shred, you can bring as many as five boxes to DRBank, the new name of Laurel Road Bank, on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The bank, with its downtown Darien location at 1001 Post Road, has announced that it’s changed its name.
The bank, established in 2006, had previously changed its name from Darien Rowayton Bank in January 2018, and says the new name is a change “back to our roots.” The bank has locations in Darien, Rowayton and Southport.
The shredding will be done in the parking lot, and you can watch them do it to make sure your personal and confidential documents are cut to pieces.
