Metro-North announced at 1:04 p.m.: “New Haven Line service is currently experiencing delays of 20-30 minutes due to a tree in the wires in the vicinity of Old Greenwich. Please listen for announcements at your station.”

In Darien, only five customers were without power as of 12:15 p.m., according to the Eversource website. In other nearby towns, more were out of power. Here’s a breakdown:
- Stamford — 73
- New Canaan — 3
- Greenwich — 373
- Wilton — 63
- Westport — 61
- Weston — 62
Across the state, less than 1 percent of Eversource customers are without power.

Gray areas (and much of Norwalk) aren’t served by Eversource. Darker green towns have more outages, light-green towns have fewer. The online map changes at five-minute intervals. The percentage of customers affected is still less than 1 percent.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory in effect until 6 p.m.
...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THIS EVENING... * Winds...Northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. Some isolated higher gusts will be possible. * Timing...The strongest winds will be through late afternoon. * Impacts...Strong winds may blow down limbs...trees...and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph... or gusts of 46 to 57 mph...are expected or occurring. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
