Over 100 golfers participated in the Darien YMCA Golf Scramble held earlier this month at the Griffith E. Harris Golf Club in Greenwich. In an email, the Y thanked Pio Bruzzese for his work as chairman of the event, and everyone who volunteered, participated and donated.

All proceeds from the event go towards Darien YMCA programs for children with special needs. Last year, the Darien Y provided $400,000 in funding for special needs programs, and most of it came from donations and fundraising.
