REACH Prep is hosting “The Next Big Thing,” a virtual wine tasting to benefit the organization on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 7 p.m.

The wine tasting features the next generation of great wines and will be led on Zoom by Greg Rubin of Horseneck Wine & Spirits in Greenwich. Options are available for larger groups to enjoy together. Tickets to the event are available at www.reachprep.org and will be sold until April 20th.

Proceeds from the event will benefit REACH Prep’s mission to provide access to transformative educational experiences that empower underserved, high-achieving students to graduate from top colleges and emerge as the next generation of leaders.

The theme of “The Next Big Thing” was selected by Rubin to describe the three wines in the tasting which he considers to be among the most exciting new releases made in America. During the tasting, Rubin will lead attendees through the stories of each wine’s unique origins which provide an ideal roadmap for the next movement of American winemaking.

About Reach Prep

REACH Prep’s 12-year educational continuum starts with a fourth grader’s admission into the rigorous, 15-month Prep Academy program of coursework. There is ongoing academic and family support through high school, leading up to ACT/SAT test prep and college admission guidance. Summer opportunities throughout offer students access to internships, experiential learning opportunities, outdoor leadership, community service, study abroad and pre-collegiate programming.

REACH Prep continues to work with its students during their college experience, helping them prepare for graduation, professional positions, and leadership roles in society.
