Play With Your Food will wrap up its 2016 lunchtime theater program in Westport at Toquet Hall (58 Post Road East) on March 29, 30 & 31.

PWYF’s line-up of one-act plays will combine raucous humor and edgy drama with timeless matters of the heart.

Acclaimed playwrights include: Kitt Lavoie, Bara Swain, James Anthony Tyler, and David Ives. These writers’ pieces tackle a wide variety of subjects including the market crash of 2008 (Bank &Trust); aging—not so—gracefully (Civil Disobedience); young love (Loveeeeeee Play); and, everyone’s favorite “whale of a tale,” here calledMoby Dude!

Featured actors include Nadine Willig and Dustin Sullivan.

Westport audiences will have the opportunity to savor delicious barbecue from popular Westport restaurant Bobby Q’s Bodacious Barbecue before it closes its Main Street location.

Lunch begins at 12 noon with performances and talkback from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at jibproductions.org or by calling the Box Office at 203.293.8729. Limited seats available.

In an effort to create a tender surprise, a young man makes so many mistakes even he can’t keep track of his story.  The Loveeee Play captures the spirit of  youthful energy relentlessly going awry!

Moby Dude by David Ives

A high school student takes on the task of convincing his teacher that he has indeed read the assigned Moby Dick.  Written by renowned master of short stories David Ives, Moby Dick morphs into Moby Dude!
