Book Group members and avid readers alike are invited by Darien Library to take an insider’s look into the New York Times Book Review.

Pamela Paul, editor of the New York Times Book Review, will speak in conversation with Gregory Cowles, senior editor for the New York Times Books Desk and one of Darien’s own.

How do things actually work at the Book Review? How does one become a book reviewer? How does the newspaper decide what books to review and who should review them? What does a NYT book review mean to an author? To a publisher?

If these questions frequently cross your mind please join us for the conversation. All will be revealed, including the latest and greatest of new books, of course!
