Join us at Harbor Point Commons Park in Stamford to Light the Night against the darkness of cancer; specifically blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and Hodgkin’s disease.
This special event, Light the Night is held by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and raises funds and awareness for cancer research and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families, caregivers, friends, medical personnel and researchers.
At this special event, walkers carry illuminated lanterns and walk at dusk– white lanterns for survivors, gold for those walking in memory of a loved one and red for family members and supporters. Light the Night also includes family activities, food, entertainment, a Survivors Ceremony, a Remembrance Pavilion and is capped off by fireworks.
