This workshop will help infrequent Excel users advance their basic Excel skills and learn more about how spreadsheets can help them understand and manage their businesses.

This 1.5 hour workshop will focus on the functionality of Excel and show you how to customize a “pre-made” spreadsheet for your business – leaving lots of time for questions. No laptop or mobile device is necessary.

Using a file that will be available for download from the SCORE Norwalk website, you will learn about. . .

• Save vs Save As
• How cells link to track money / numbers
• How to insert rows and columns
• How to move formulas and values between cells and workbooks
• How to make YOUR spreadsheet look good and read easily to people outside your business

About the presenter

Bud Freund teaches technology and provides tech support to small businesses and families looking for reasonable, cost-effective technology solutions. Mr. Freund also provides training to individuals, groups and corporations including GE, UBS and the YMCA.

His curriculum covers a broad range of hardware and software skills including safe internet practices, mobility, digital imaging and Excel. His skill set also enables him to give back to the community as a SCORE volunteer specializing in IT.

This workshop is presented by SCORE Fairfield County.
