The body of Suzanne Stisser, reported missing after she left her home at 11 a.m. Friday, has been found in Darien, police announced earlier today.

The Darien Police Department received the report of a missing person on January 1, 2016.
The family of Suzanne Stisser reported that she was last seen at approximately 11 a.m. at her residence on that date.
Over the past twenty-four hours the Detective Division and Patrol Division has worked with several other agencies in an attempt to locate her.
At approximately 4 p.m . on [Saturday] Jan. 2, 2016, Suzanne Stisser’s body and vehicle were located in a remote location in Darien. Investigation has revealed that there were no signs of foul play. The incident remains under investigation but no additional details are being released at this time.
The Darien Police Department would like to extend its condolences to the Stisser family as we thank other law enforcement agencies for their assistance.

The Darien Police Department is investigating the report of a missing person. According to family members, 63-year-old Suzanne Stisser, was last seen at her residence on Friday Jan. 1, 2016.
Stisser is described as having blonde hair, is 5 feet, 8 eight inches [in height] and weighs 140 pounds.

She left her Briar Brae Rd residence at approximately 11 a.m. in her dark gray 2010 Subaru Forester bearing CT Registration 483-YTB.
The Darien Police Department is actively investigating this incident and is working with several other law enforcement agencies in an attempt to locate her.
