Buses will replace most trains for Friday and weekend service on Metro-North’s New Canaan Branch starting this Friday and continuing through Aug. 21 as work is done on railroad crossings, Metro-North and the Connecticut Department of Transportation have announced.
Here’s an emailed announcement, followed by images from a flyer distributed by the two organizations:

Substitute busing will be provided between New Canaan and Stamford stations for select trains on Fridays, and for all trains on Saturdays and Sundays, beginning Friday, July 22 through August 21.
Note: Buses will operate 15 to 20 minutes earlier than scheduled trains. Please listen for announcements and check local or express bus service to your destination when boarding.
Service changes will allow for renewal work on grade crossings. We appreciate your patience during this infrastructure improvement.
