Michael Anthony Siragusa, 30, of Stamford died Saturday May 21. Michael was born on Oct. 11 1985 and graduated from Darien High School in 2003.

Michael went on to Johnson Wales Culinary Institute, and was currently employed by United Parcel Service. Always courageous and industrious despite his learning disabilities, Michael was also working with his father at Sal’s Electric of Darien while studying to get his Electricians license.
A unique soul, Michael will always be remembered for his ambition, his generosity with his friends and family and his ability to always keep them laughing. Michael loved his family, boating, working on cars, his mother’s cooking, and his dog Hunter.

Michael is survived by his father Salvatore Siragusa, mother Elenora (Sgroi) Siragusa, his brothers Joseph and Salvatore JR Siragusa, both of Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his new niece Olivia.
Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 26 at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 27 at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford CT. Interment will take place in private.
In lieu of flowers the family requests Masses said for Michael or donations to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
