Audrey Beik Beauchamp, a 67-year town resident, passed away on Monday, Jan. 1 in Darien.
Audrey Beauchamp, 89, passed away on Jan. 1. Her wake will be on Friday, Jan. 5, and her funeral on Saturday.
Born on Nov. 11, 1928 in Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Sarah (Conroy) Beik. Audrey graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford.
She worked as an office manager for Alvah Jessup Plumbing and as a bookkeeper at the Darien Community Association. She was a member of the Middlesex Club, the D.C.A., the Darien Dance Club and the Darien Boat Club.
She is survived by her two children, John L. Beauchamp and Suzanne B. Forbes, both of Darien and two grandchildren, James “Beau” Forbes and John “Mac” Forbes also both of Darien. She was predeceased by her husband, John V. Beauchamp.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 6 at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
