On Thursday, Oct 4 Women of Vision Fairfield County will be hosting a “Friendraiser Luncheon” and Trip Report from Bangladesh at The Belle Haven Club in Greenwich. The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Fred Whitteveen, national director of World Vision, Bangladesh, will be the keynote speaker, talking about ending child labor in Bangladesh. “We are very fortunate to have Fred Whitteveen visiting the the USA at the same time we are having our event,” said Janine Kennedy, Chair of Women of Vision Fairfield County. Whitteveen’s remarks will be followed by personal stories by travelers from Women of Vision FC who went to Bangladesh in February.
