Two Elementary School Girls Report Suspicious Car

Two girls, ages 9 and 10, reported a suspicious vehicle near Holmes School on Tuesday afternoon, April 5, police said. As the two girls were walking on Hoyt Street at its intersection with Phillips Lane, a black Subaru with Massachusetts license plates and two males in it stopped at the intersection, the girls told police. The passenger, a male with wavy blond hair, rolled down his window, stuck his head out and said, “Hey, ladies, did you just get out of school?” Neither occupant of the vehicle opened a door, and nothing further was said. No one tried to entice the girls to get in the car.
