Tree Identification Walk for Seniors at Darien Nature Center

Senior Moments, a monthly coffee and conversation program designed specifically for seniors will meet Thursday, may 12 at 3 p.m. at the Darien Nature Center, 120 Brookside Road. Join us at the Darien Nature Center for a beginner’s tree identification walk. We’ll start indoors with an overview of identification terminology and a review of several types of identification guides. Then we’ll head outside and use our skills to identify some of the specimens in Cherry Lawn. The program runs rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
