Darien District 2 Residents Invited to Informational Meeting on Sunday

The 15 members of District 2 of the Representative Town Meeting will be holding an informational meeting for residents who live in the district from 3 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 7 in the Louise Parker Berry Community Room at Darien Library. The purpose of the meeting is to get input from District 2 residents as the Town begins planning for its 2018-19 budget. Each District 2 RTM member will be prepared to give a brief update on what is happening in their standing committees: Education, Finance & Budget, Parks & Recreation, Planning, Zoning & Housing, Public Health & Safety, Public Works, Rules, Town Government Structure & Administration (TGS&A), Blight, Public Works Garage Building Committee, TV79 Advisory Board. Then we would like to hear from you.
