Rowayton Historical Society’s 8th Annual Chili Cook-Off

The Darien Fire Department has challenged the Rowayton Fire Department, last year’s first prize-winner, for the chance to wear the crown at the Rowayton Historical Society’s 8th Annual Chili Cook-Off. The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. in Rowayton’s Pinkney Park. The Cook-Off is a fundraiser for the Rowayton Historical Society which is currently raising funds to create a new maritime museum focusing on Long Island Sound. The new museum will be the only one in our area focusing on local maritime history.
