Parklands Office Park Owners Propose Creating a Nursing Home There

The owners of Parklands Office Park, which owns office buildings on a site uphill from the Darien North rest stop on Interstate 95 and near Fairmead Road, want to put a nursing home there. The home, called a “Senior Assisted Living and Memory Care facility” in the proposal before the Planning and Zoning Commission, would be located in a modified office building. A public hearing on the proposal is scheduled for 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 26 in Room 206 of Town Hall. The homes nearest to the office park are on Fairmead Road.
