Six Ferarris, two Porches, a Bentley and an Aston Martin Rapide possessed by Darien residents are the 10 most expensive cars in town, according to the Oct. 1, 2015 Grand List. The Grand List is compiled annually by the Town Assessor’s Office, which releases a summary report to the state every year. According to this year’s report, these are the 10 priciest cars Darien drivers owned as of three months ago (the vehicles, like real estate are assessed at 70 percent of estimated value — we’ve added back that 30 percent here):

Porsche 911 RS — $300,000 — (assessed at $210,000) — A
Ferrari 575 Superamerica — $230,000 — (assessed at $161,000) — A
Ferrari 458 Spider — $221,357 — (assessed at 154,950)
Aston Martin Rapide — $205,000 — (assessed at $143,500)
Bentley Continental GT — $188,100 — (assessed at $131,670)
Porsche 922 GT2 — $186,000 — (assessed at $130,200)
Ferrari 365 — $175,000 — (assessed at $122,500) — A
Ferrari 599 GTB — $165,714 — (assessed at $116,000)
Ferrari 458 Italia — $155,400 — (assessed at $108,780) — A
Ferrari California — $151,000 — (assessed at $105,700)

We decided not to name the taxpayers for these cars, but there are only seven of them — the first, second, seventh and ninth cars are all owned by the same man (marked with an “A” at the end of each line). Those three Ferraris and a Porche have a total estimated value of $860,400.
