If You’re Going … The event takes place from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on the third floor of Ferguson Library, at the corner of Broad Street and Bedford Street in downtown Stamford. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to allow us time to connect with the community and to get started on time.

Introduction to Meditation

A Darien Library announcement:

Join us in the Conference Room at Darien Library for an introduction to meditation. Grab something comfortable to sit on, a pillow, a rolled up yoga mat, or use a chair and open yourself up to meditation. In this introductory class, we will begin with the basics and work our way to guided meditation led by instructor Julie Punishill. In this session, after bringing you to a relaxed state, we will practice approximately 5 minutes of completely quiet sitting. If you have always wanted to try meditation and just haven’t been quite sure where to start, come join us.
