Pearl East, a Glenbrook Restaurant Delivering to Darien, Reopens After Fire

Pearl East, a Chinese-Japanese restaurant in Glenbrook that also delivers to Darien, is holding a “Grand Reopening” on Thursday, Aug. 13 to mark the eatery’s return after a fire closed it in the spring of 2014.
The restaurant, formerly on Summer Street in Stamford, is now located at 323 Hope St. in the center of Glenbrook. Pearl East recently sported a “Coming Soon” banner and had a soft opening. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, with Stamford Mayor David Martin and state Sen. William Tong, starts at 5:30 p.m.
The Grand Reopening will feature a 20 percent discount from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on certain menu items available for in-house dining or take-out.
