The party was over for a 27-year-old New Jersey man who got into a dispute with someone else and then grabbed two knives out of the kitchen of a Morley Lane house, according to police: The man was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct. Darien police described the incident and arrest with this account (including accusations not proven in court):

The man, a resident of Hamilton, N.J., had an interest in a woman at the party early Sunday morning, Aug. 21, who he saw talking with others. At some point, the man asked a couple of people if they had ever been in a fight before. He got into an argument with another man who told him he had duct tape and $4,000 and could make the New Jersey man “disappear.”
