Bicycle, Locked But Not Locked to a Rack, Stolen at Darien YMCA

A bicycle with a “locking mechanism” was ridden by a boy who parked at the Darien YMCA on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 30, but when he went to get it a few hours later, the bike was gone. The boy’s mother reported the theft to Darien police on Jan. 3. She said her son parked the bike at a bike rack at the YMCA, 2420 Post Road, at about 2:45 p.m. and at 6 p.m. found it was missing.
