To the editor,

[Editor’s note: This is a copy of a letter sent to Amy Daniels and Doreen Godfrey of the Tokeneke Parents Association, which organized this past weekend’s Tokeneke Pumpkin Fair.]

On behalf of the Darien Department of Human Services, I wanted to thank you and the Tokeneke Pumpkin Carnival Committee for your generous support. The Pumpkin Carnival Committee provided tickets to families in town with admission to the fair, punch cards for rides, and food vouchers for pizza and lemonade. Local children were given the opportunity to enjoy rides, carnival games and pizza at the 53rd Annual Tokeneke Pumpkin Carnival. In addition, each of the children received a Tokeneke Pumpkin Carnival tee shirt. The joy you brought to these children (and their parents) was priceless!
