Darien Head Building Official Peter Solheim Gets Builders’ ‘Official of the Year’ Award

Peter Solheim, Darien’s Chief Building Official has been recognized as the “2016 Building Official of the Year” by the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Fairfield County (HBRA). The not-for-profit trade organization represents many of the area builders, remodelers, land developers and allied services associated with the real estate development industry. Solheim, who heads Darien’s Building Department, will be honored at the association’s annual building official’s night held on May 4 at a meeting hosted by Clarke Distributors in South Norwalk. _________

The meeting will be attended by HBRA members and guests, the Town of Darien First Selectman Jayme Stevenson, the Darien Building Department, and District 8 building official association members. It is an opportunity to show support for their industry and network together on important mutual goals.
