Meet artist Kevin Dailey at the Bemer pop-up shop in the Noroton Heights Shopping Center, where his abstract art and sailing photography are on display. You can also get free Bemer therapy sessions at the open house event from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Kevin’s work falls into two categories” sailing scenes in which there is lots of motion, waves, tumultuous clouds — all about action on the water. Also, very colorful abstracts that invite the eye to wonder in, and under, to find abstract forms, animals and beings, scenes. He began his art career with photography — taking pictures of sailboat races and doing multimedia presentations. While he still loves the sea, salt, and sails, his work has evolved into the morphing of something as simple as an antique car grill into large scale metal prints that move with light and color.
