Print out the attached flyer, take it to Shake Shack on Wednesday and they’ll donate 25 percent of your purchase to ABC in Darien. A Better Chance in Darien’s mission is to provide scholarships to academically talented girls of color from underserved communities allowing them to realize their academic and social potential while living in Darien and attending DHS. In 35 years of operation, ABC in Darien Scholars have been Presidents of the DHS student body, National Honor Society members and Captains of several athletic teams. 100% of graduates have gone on to four-year colleges. Many have continued on to graduate schools and careers in law, teaching and architecture. You can download the flyer from here.
