An online auction to benefit the Darien Arts Center is open to all at darienarts.org, from 9 a.m., Monday June 3 through 10 p.m., Saturday, June 15, the evening of the DAC’s Saturday Night Fever Disco Dance Benefit.

Anyone, even those not attending the benefit, may bid until the closing time on the luxury items, fun experiences, and local gift certificates made available through the auction.

Online auction items include: a weeklong house rental on Kiawah Island; a Two Roads Brewery Tour; a Day of Beauty at Andrew Stefanou Salon & Spa; a Sirius XM tour including lunch with ‘Mad Dog’ Russo; a sunset cruise; a NYC private gallery tour; ‘Blowouts and Bubbly’ at LeBoudoir; and a psychic reading.

Tickets to a Giants/Dolphins game, Westport Country Playhouse and Caramoor are also included, as well as six tutoring hours at C2 Education, a Fresh Light Driving School course, an OsteoStrong Platinum package and a 10 person art workshop at the DAC.

Entertainment experiences for parties include singer/songwriter Doug Allen, magician Steve Dane, rock and roll band Old School, and a Juke Box trivia night.

The 70’s dance party and fundraising event, Saturday Night Fever, takes place in the DAC Weatherstone Studio, which will be transformed into a 1970’s disco, complete with disco ball and a DJ playing all of the biggest hits of the era.

Guests can show off their best dance moves while enjoying drinks and hors d’oevres, and a prize for best costume will be awarded at this fun celebration open to all.

It is recommended to purchase tickets soon, as space is limited and the event is expected to sell out.

Sponsorships for the event include tickets, reserved tables, song requests and special shout outs

from the DJ. The Bee Gees Sponsorship for $2500 includes 6 tickets, a reserved table, your name listed in all 2019 DAC programming and 5 song requests to the DJ, with a special shout out on the night of the event; a Village People Sponsorship for $1000 includes 4 tickets, a reserved table, and 3 song requests to the DJ, with a special shout out on the night of the event; and a KC and the

Sunshine Band Sponsorship for $500 includes 2 tickets, 1 song request to the DJ, with a special shout out on the night of the event.

Individual tickets are $125 and a light-up Disco necklace for the evening is $20. Event sponsorships, tickets and Disco necklaces are available at darienarts.org. Founded in 1975, the Darien Arts Center (DAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing visual and performing arts programs and events for the community.
