Darien Health Department announced early Tuesday morning that the day’s scheduled flu clinic at Town Hall was cancelled because the department needed to get more vaccine.
The clinic had been scheduled for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Town Hall. Another clinic was scheduled for Election Day, Nov. 5. If no vaccine comes in by then, that clinic will also be cancelled, according to the Health Department.
A department spokeswoman said a further announcement on getting more vaccine would come when more information was available.
Darienites have other options for flu shots:
- getting a flu shot from your doctor,
- you can schedule a flu shot online at Walgreens, 148 Heights Road, here; or
- call CVS in Darien at 203-655-6335 to get your flu shot there.
