It was with great sadness that we had to take last year off from this beloved community celebration due to the pandemic, and the return of the carnival is a welcome and joyful sign of how far our community has come in the span of a year.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The rain date will be on the following day (Sunday, Oct. 17).

The Tokeneke Pumpkin Carnival is an established favorite fall activity for Fairfield County families, offering something fun for children of all ages.

This year’s Pumpkin Carnival will feature a wide variety of mechanical rides suitable for a wide variety of ages.

For those seeking a thrill, make sure to try Ali Baba ride, the Cliffhanger, and Zero Gravity.

Preschoolers are sure to love the cars, trains, and spin rides. We will also unveil a brand new ride this fall, Crazy Cars, which will surely bring the laughs.

The Carnival will feature a variety of lawn games, art activities, face painting, and prizes.

You can also test your stamina on the Nola Physical Therapy + Performance Obstacle Course!

Stay and enjoy performances by students of the School of Rock and Dance on the DL.

Carnival participants will be able to enjoy an array of tasty foods and beverages from local Darien restaurants, such as Burgers Shakes & Fries, Crazy Taco Mex, Fjord, and Heights Pizza. Traditional fairground snacks and refreshments will also be available as will delicious home baked goods.
