Cheri Scheckler, née Boyd, age 64, died on Nov. 12, 2021, in her home in Port Charlotte, Florida, surrounded by her husband and family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on Dec. 17, 1956 in Chicago, Cheri resided in Darien for many years. She was formerly national training director at Red Door Spas.
She is survived by Rob, her husband of 14 years; her two children, Lynzi Scholz and Andrew Scholz; her siblings: Stacey Boyd Martin and David Boyd; and her grandchildren.
Cheri was known for her loyalty, generosity, commitment to family and work, and love of animals. She will be missed by her family and the many friends made during her life.
