Kirby & Company, the gift shop and “confections cafe” at 1029 Post Road, is expanding its shop, which has closed the store for now — but the result is that they’ve got a sale going on across the street.
Starting today, the “Indoor Sale Outlet” has items up to 40 percent off at 1020 Post Road.
Kirby & Company is expanding to the right. You can see the reflection of 1020 Post Road in the glass — that’s where the “outlet store” is.
On Facebook the store announced:
BIG NEWS! We are having a huge construction sale! Our main shop and cafe are CLOSED today as we work on our expansion but our INDOOR SALE OUTLET opens today across the street! We are clearing the decks of fabulous pillows, decor, accents and loads of vintage finds to make room for all the new goodies we have arriving for our expanded main shop. Don’t miss this sale!! 40 percent off ticketed price. Doors open at 11 a.m.! Complete OUTLET SHOP hours will updated on our Facebook page – OUTLET is at 1020 Post Road.
The store also announced, on June 17, that an all-female construction crew was hard at work getting the new space ready, but we’ll let you decide just how much of that you want to believe:
