Heart on Fire? Get Him a Firefighter-Themed Tie for Valentine’s Day

“Come by the Darien Sport Shop in time for Valentine’s Day and pick up the perfect gift,” the Town of Darien Firefighters Foundation announced on Facebook. “The ties are on sale now.” The ties, made by Vineyard Vines, have been on sale for a while, too, but if you’re looking for a good gift for him, it’s an option (tell him firefighters ties, like firefighters, are really sexy). The ties come in cool blue and hot red. All proceeds benefit the foundation, which uses the money to “purchase equipment, pay for training, purchase or improve property that is solely used in a first-responder capacity” or similar projects (see the illustration below).
