Aging and Exercise: Is fitness the new fountain of youth? Presented by Marc Kowalsky, MD and Robert Spatz, PT, of Orthopaedic & Neurosurgery Specialists (ONS) on Wednesday, March 8, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Greenwich Hospital Noble Auditorium in Greenwich. The physical benefits of fitness for people of all ages are well known. In addition to improved quality of life, regular exercise is linked to the prevention of a variety of health problems including cardiovascular disease, cancer, dementia and diabetes. Moreover, the positive role regular exercise and activity plays on the aging body and mind is becoming increasingly clear.
