Come to Darien Library and get your blood pressure checked by a nurse from the Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County. A nurse will be there on the first Tuesday of every month unless otherwise stated. Nurses will be on the first floor of the library from 12 to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4. Helpful links:

If you are seeking practical tips and coping strategies for how to make it through the holiday season after a loss, you are invited to attend a workshop for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County is leading a workshop from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 3 in the Rimer Room at Wilton Library at 137 Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton. The workshop is free of charge and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
