Darien celebrated veterans on Veterans Day both in front of Town Hall and at area schools. Here are some of the photos. This article has been updated with more photos by David E. Middlesex Middle School students celebrated Veterans Day at a special assembly featuring six veterans who shared their experiences through stories, photos and videos. The celebration opened with the MMS Camerata Singers’ rendition of The Star Spangled Banner, followed by a Veterans Day video, talks by the guest speakers, an “I am an American” reading by several students, and the Taps bugle call to end the program.
