The 8th annual event will feature a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres from vendors, a silent auction and a harvest dinner with a presentation about the organization’s 40 years of service. New Covenant Center, now celebrating 40 years of service, provides over 600,000 meals each year to neighbors in need, serving the disadvantaged and hungry in lower Fairfield County, 365 days a year.

Jeff Fager, the executive producer of CBS 60 Minutes is the keynote speaker for New Covenant Center’s 14th Annual Celebrity Breakfast at the Woodway Country Club in Darien on Wednesday April 4. The annual fundraising event takes place from 7 to 9 a.m. and features not only Fager, but this year’s recipient of the Founder’s Award: Randy Salvatore, CEO of RMS Companies. All proceeds from Celebrity Breakfast will benefit New Covenant Center, whose mission is to provide basic living items and services combined with longer-term solutions that focus on self- sufficiency to those in need. New Covenant Center is celebrating it’s 40th Anniversary of the original soup kitchen which has since grown to a comprehensive center offering a job skills program, life coaching and human services. New Covenant Center serves hot meals twice a day, 365 days a year, providing 700,000 meals a year, including a breakfast program.
