If you’ve got almost three times the legal limit for alcohol in your bloodstream, getting behind the wheel is a bad idea. Getting behind the wheel in that condition and then getting so angry at another driver that you follow her is a worse idea. Darien police say that’s what a 30-year-old man did early Sunday evening. Right up to the Darien Police Headquarters on Hecker Avenue, where the victim drove, police said. Here’s what else police said, including accusations not proven in court:

Police received a call from a woman who told them a red Toyota that had been following her, had been traveling extremely fast and almost struck her when she was parked in Rowayton, picking up her 11-year-old daughter.
