Joan Grace LaBanca, a long-time resident of Darien and Jupiter, Fla., passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Stamford Hospital. Born on Oct. 1, 1929, in Suffern, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Emma Meffert. She was 86.

Charles I. Gerstenmaier of Mystic, Conn., and a lifelong Darien resident until recently, passed away March 1, 2016 at the age of 91.
