Joel Mackinnon, 48, arrested Aug. 19 and charged with multiple thefts from unlocked cars parked within half a mile of the Noroton Heights Railroad Station, has been arrested again.
The homeless Stamford man is charged with stealing from six more vehicles left unlocked overnight. Darien police said they received permission from a judge to issue an arrest warrant for Mackinnon, who has remained in jail since his August arrest.
The thefts occurred on Aug. 13, police said. When Mackinnon was taken to state Superior Court in Stamford on Nov. 4, Darien police detectives were on hand to serve him with the warrant charging him with six counts of third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny.
