Local historian and the author of “The Story of Darien, Connecticut,” Kenneth Reiss will be the keynote speaker when Darien’s Good Wife’s River Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution holds their annual luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 5, at The Waters Edge at Giovanni’s, 2748 Post Road, Darien.

After his talk, Ken will lead luncheon attendees on a tour of the recently restored Noroton River Graveyard, which is located next to the Water’s Edge. Many of Darien’s founding families are interred in that cemetery. (more…)
