A female who said she left her wallet on a chair when she was volunteering on Tuesday, Aug. 6 found that it was missing about 90 minutes later, Darien police said.

Police provided an address where the incident took place — 1864 Post Road — but didn’t specify which of at least four organizations that share that address was where the female was volunteering: Person-to-Person, St. Luke’s Parish, the church’s nursery school or its youth center.

Police also didn’t specify whether the victim was a woman or a girl.

The female only had $7 in the wallet but it also contained various bank cards and her driver’s license. She left the wallet on the chair at 10:30 a.m. and found it missing around 12 noon.
