Police: Homeless Man Apparently Breaks Into Car to Spend the Night, Then Gets Arrested

A 34-year-old man apparently broke a window to get inside a vehicle parked outside Hollow Tree Self Storage and was found sleeping there, police said. Darien police gave this account of the matter, including accusations not proven in court:
Police received a report of a man sleeping in an employee’s car late in the evening of Thursday, Feb. 1. Officers were told that it appeared the man had smashed a window to get inside the vehicle. They went to the scene and found the man.
